Mechanized red velvet theatre curtain installed over a window that reveals the street and the interior of the gallery. After rising slowly and reaching the top, the curtain crashes down and then remains closed for 30 seconds. The entire “show” lasts about 3 minutes. The reveal is an opportunity for interaction between the life on the street and the traditionally isolated interior of the gallery.
